About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
    • Pricing will be adjusted depending on financial need, whether services are delivered in-person, by phone and if travel is necessary.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
    • We start with a free 20-30 minute phone consultation to determine whether I am suitable to meet potential client needs.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
    • I have earned a Master's Degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College with over a decade of experience working with clients. Additionally, I have earned a Master Coach Certification through Transformation Academy. I am also a NASM certified nutrition coach, in the process of earning a personal training certificate. I embrace a holistic approach to overall health! Talking is great, but behavior change creates real results! My training has provided me with techniques to support healthy emotional and physical development with adolescents, adults, and couples.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
    • I've always been an effective listener with a willingness to be a genuinely concerned agent of change, but it wasn't until my graduate studies that I was able to align my passion with real and effective skills.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
    • Men seeking positive change in themselves. Couples, children (2-18), young adults, adults, lgbt/questioning, Parents of children with behavioral issues, survivors of trauma.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
    • I have many fond memories of families I have been able to support in creating better emotional and relational skills. Recently, I was able to help a teen who suffered from anxiety with a holistic plan of mindfulness, open expression and fitness. He was able to counter the anxiety inducing thoughts that made him feel frozen and stuck. After only 2 meetings, he ended up joining academic clubs, enjoying relationships with his parents/siblings, improved sleep and realized what he was really made of.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
    • Interview multiple providers and ask questions as needed. Ensure that the responses you receive are clear and understandable, that the service provider actually listened to your concerns. Clarify what the provider can offer you and your family and how she or he can make your life better.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
    • "How can I determine if this provider is a good fit?" "Does this provider make me feel comfortable, confident and heard?"
