About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
    • Our pricing is very straightforward and reasonable. We will always be very transparent about our pricing and our hourly rates so you will never experience any surprises. Our rates are hourly based so we are very meticulous about understanding the work that will be involved so we can give you the most accurate quote regarding the number of hours it will take our team to perform your job from start to finish.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
    • We like to start every interaction out with a phone call so you can hear our voice and feel of our genuine care to help meet your needs. While on the phone, we will ask you questions about your job so we can provide you with an accurate and transparent quote. We strive to never over promise and under deliver.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
    • Everyone here at Movingly has previous experience in the moving and delivery industry. The best education in this line of work is experience and that is what you can expect when you hire us.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
    • We saw a need for improvement in the moving and delivery industry that we wanted to solve. Moving is stressful enough for people and the problems that most moving companies create for their customers is like sprinkling salt on an open wound. We strive to solve those problems by being different than 99% of the industry.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
    • We have worked with and will continue to work with individuals, families, businesses, realtors, mortgage brokers, staging businesses, furniture stores, schools, registered auctions and government agencies. Wherever their is a need for quality transportation services you will find Movingly doing our best to make a much needed difference.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
    • We helped a women that was going through a divorce move out of her 2 bed bedroom home into a storage unit while she takes time to process her feelings and figure out where to go next. The move took a total of 4 hrs to complete which included packing, loading and unloading to her storage unit and disposing of any clutter that she didn’t want to keep anymore.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
    • Our advice is to find a company that is 100% transparent and honest from the beginning. Integrity and value should be the first qualities you should be looking for. Reviews speak volumes in regards to the character of a company. As hard as it is to accept, you shouldn’t buy on price, but rather on value. Overpaying is a mistake but underpaying is an even bigger mistake that could lead to damaged, lost or stolen possessions. The best companies in this industry are going to be slightly more expensive then sub par ones.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
    • Everyone should do a little research about what moving services cost so that you can come into the hiring process with realistic expectations. Moving companies have expenses just like any other business. In order to grow and democratize their services to more people and maintain quality work at the same time, they have to pay their workers well while also remaining profitable. You should also set a budget for what you can afford for a moving service just like any other expense. If you can’t afford a full service move from a top tier moving company it doesn’t mean that you have to go with a cheaper lower quality option. You may just need to do some of the leg work yourself such as packing and then only hire the quality company to perform part of the work such as loading and unloading services.
